Creating a simple water tank with Morris' block can quickly extinguish electric vehicle fires in a short time. Electric vehicle fires are more difficult to extinguish and are more likely to last a long time than regular vehicle fires. When a lithiumion battery overheats, a series of thermal runaway bursts occur, and it is difficult to cool down the internal heat with water or fire extinguishers alone. Cooling the battery for a long time is essential to completely extinguish the fire.

Barrier, presented by MORRIS N CO at the Dubai Intersec exhibition, is an electric vehicle fire control tank that can effectively cool the battery by immersing the entire electric vehicle, quickly controlling and preventing recurrence of fires, durability design to withstand high temperatures and explosions, and flood barriers. Battery fire response technologies are becoming increasingly important as electric vehicle penetration increases, and these tank-type solutions can be a practical solution. 

In particular, Dubai, a desert region, received a lot of attention in April 2024, with large floods or blocks that can also be used as flood barriers. Officials from Dubai's fire safety government agencies all visited and showed great interest in the product.
